Welcome to Palm Springs Rendezvous

Welcome to Palm Springs Rendezvous, a fantastic Bed & Breakfast/ Boutique Hotel in Palm Springs, CA. My name is Jake and I will be your host on this blog. I am the General Manager/ Owner and live on property. We serve a full gourmet breakfast each morning and cocktails and appetizers each afternoon.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I am 25 years old and among the youngest innkeepers in the United States. My parents opened our first B & B, The Shore House at Lake Tahoe when I was 10. I love to be outside, enjoying biking, hiking, running, skiing, rafting, etc. and I am also active in local theater. I grew up in Lake Tahoe and was a 3 sport athlete in high school playing football, skiing, and golf. I went to college at UC San Diego and moved to Palm Springs about 2 years ago to open Palm Springs Rendezvous!
The last few years have been a whirlwind and zip-buzz-bang- boom, out the other side comes Rendezvous. We started with 9 months of intensive rehab of the property and have built what our guests tell us is a one of a kind B & B. After being open for less than 2 years we have garnered some pretty impressive awards being named to National Geographic Traveler's Best Places to Stay list in 2009 and also being admitted into Select Registry, a best of the best Bed and Breakfast Group throughout North America. In 2010, we have been rated the #2 hotel in CA by the users of TripAdvisor and we are looking forward to many great experiences to come. I look forward to keeping everyone up to date on the newest happenings at Rendezvous and in Palm Springs and the rest of the Coachella Valley!
